New items for Soony event from Fairyland.

I thought I’d give the Sony Nex 5T.

The sales rep said that it had manual focus, but it’s obvious the manual focus was just slapped in so that it could be a selling point. It is the most frustrating, annoying thing in the world.

The camera as two zoom rings, and no manual focus ring. There’s no hard stop or anything between zoom and digital zoom, either. There’s a “nifty” feature that it zooms into a random area of the image as you’re trying to manual focus. I couldn’t get ANYTHING in focus, even using manual focus. The autofocus liked to pick out random things to focus on, too.

It didn’t even last 10 minutes, I’m taking it back tomorrow. It’s cute and small and everything, but the size isn’t worth this annoyance. I’m going back to the Canon EOS Rebel T3i- Same price.

This post will take you through the basic steps to ordering from Steven or Luo without using a taobao agent. These are my usual steps, other people will have different ways. I apologize for the wordy nature of this post in advance.

Steven and Luo are both available on email, and Luo can also be…

I wanna add: You can always negotiate the price down a little. Remember that Steven and Luo are Chinese, and that’s one of the best things about Chinese sellers and dealers- they like to negotiate and are totally willing to do it. You can usually get them down by $30 dollars if you try hard.

I never knew you could negotiate with them, I do remember hearing that they fluctuate their prices. How to you even begin a negotiation with them? O.o Just out of curiosity. :) I know I wouldn’t want to say something wrong and end up being confusing cuz of the language barrier.

You just ask for the price, then say “Thats too high, XX” and suggest your price where the XX is. Like, “How much for minifee chloe?” and they will say “$150” or whatever the price is, then you say “too high, can do 130?” and if they say no, then try to find a middle ground. If they say that the price is final, ask for extra parts like hands or heeled feet or whatever.

The price for a minifee chloe is 80 dollars + shipping through taobao, so they’re selling them for 80 dollars in China, so the price they give us includes shipping but is still higher, so you can use that to negotiate.

the secret hope that your teacher will be late

what is the best TaoBao agent that does charge heaps for shipping I cant find any! :(

Sorry for the delay! The best one to use, that I’ve found, is Taobaonow/Spreenow. NOT BHINER WHATEVER YOU DO NOT THEM.

What the colour option say

  • sax

What it really means

  • actual sax
  • sky blue
  • almost green
  • kinda grey
  • periwinkle
  • a bit minty
  • baby blue
  • sky blue
  • it’s actually a surprise good luck co-ording this with any other shade of blue

Sax is short for Saxon Blue. Saxon blue is a dye made by dissolving Indigo in Sulfuric Acid. Saxon blue is named after a location in Germany, and it’s also used for wools and textiles that originated from or was made by the techniques developed there. It also sounds cool.

if ur thinking of invalidating self-diagnosed kids

  • stop
  • some kids live in areas where it is difficult to get a diagnosis
  • some kids can’t afford getting tested
  • some kids have parents who would react badly if they were diagnosed
  • some kids have parents who refuse to take them to get diagnosed
  • some kids don’t trust their doctors
  • shut up
  • stop

seeing Bullshit™ on my dash again so i feel like it’s time for me to reblog this post

that and if you get diagnosed with mental issues, it can seriously hinder you from getting a job or scholarships.

that’s one of the reasons I never got diagnosed with depression, even if the medication would help me. If I did that, I wouldn’t be able to accept my scholarship in South Korea, because they will pass it on to an applicant who doesn’t have depression.
